Burrell Construction is part of a third generation family-owned and run company, which was established 115 years ago in 1902. This means that we can bring to your project the stability, experience and integrity of a long-established family company. The business employs over 40 people and operates in two sectors:- supply and erection of industrial, agricultural and commerical buildings with office refurbishment and the retail of new and used motor vehicles.

The construction sector of the company was established in the early 1950's and has grown in both size and experience from its modest beginnings. We offer a full turnkey package and are responsible for the construction of large-scale complex developments, in addition to a myraid of smaller projects and to date we have erected over 1,000 industrial, commercial and agricultural buildings.

Personnel

We employ our own very experienced personnel and where necessary also utilise the services of reputable and skilled subcontract labour with whom we have worked on many projects in the past. Indeed, we endeavour where possible to provide near continuous employment for our chosen subcontractors, thus building and maintaining excellent and harmonious working relationships with them. This means that we can offer you the services of reliable and experienced people, with a proven track record of excellence, pride in their work and commitment to the job in hand.

Working Methods

We operate scrupulous controls to ensure that all deadlines are met and pride ourselves on completing projects that not only equal clients expectations but also surpass them. We ensure that we have excellent interaction with the client and their staff, since we believe very strongly that clear and regular communication between the contractor and the customer is a prerequisite of any successful project.

Health & Safety

The company employs the services of a qualified Health and Safety Officier and employees are given comprehensive training in Health and Safety. We fully realise the importance of providing a safe and controlled working environment and our managers are skilled in implementing CDM regulations and the legal requirements of Health and Safety. The company has no previous prosecutions of any kind relating to Health and Safety matters.
